St Just of Cornwall

St Just of Cornwall

David Farmer is not forthcoming about St Just: ‘Justus (2) (Just), patron of St. Just in Penwith and St. Just in Roseland (Cornwall), described as martyr in a document of 1140 (perhaps mistakenly). The day of his feast is unknown.’ I am finding it difficult to find anything online which properly disentagles him from the rather later and better known St Just (Justus), abp of Canterbury. However, local knowledge is fairly clear that the two are different, and mention is made here of St Selevan or Selyf, St Just’s brother. Why is there more information about him?? Maybe subsequent years will fill in some more details.
