Formerly an officer in the Roman army, at Lorsch
You came to the help of persecuted Christians,
You wished to comfort them in their prison,
and you were arrested, tried and then drowned,
fulfilling by martyrdom your life in Christ.

Blessed hierarch of the city of Senlis,
You were renowned for your gently charity,
For having been scorned by Chilperic,
You were the only one to concern yourself with the king
When, having been assissinated, he remained unburied.
